The Kansas City Jr. Outlaws High School Hockey Club is part of the Kansas City Junior Blades Amateur Hockey Association (KCJBAHA). The KCJBAHA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.  The Outlaws have been members of the Midwest High School Hockey League (IHSHL) since the 1995-1997 season. Prior to 2004-2005 the team was named the Jr. Blades.  The high school program gets its authority from paragraph 5.4 of the KCJBAHA By-Laws which states:

The Junior Outlaws High School program also will appoint a director to serve on the Board of Directors and will have a structure as follows: The high school program will be responsible for selecting and compensating its coaches, selecting its teams, scheduling its practices and games and organizing and running its tournaments. It also will bear responsibility for its financial matters, including its budget and billing for team expenses. All members of the high school program will be required to become members of the Junior Outlaws and will receive all privileges and accept all responsibilities of membership. The high school program will maintain rules compatible with those of the Junior Outlaws and the Midwest High School Hockey League. The high school program will provide an accounting of its finances upon request of the Executive Board.

To comply with KCJBAHA paragraph the High School Club established a Management Committee and adopted a set of By Laws.  You can download the By-Laws from the Parents section of the web site.  Contact the GM for questions or information on how to get into the Parents section.
